Reminder: Planning Meeting on Thursday

The Pack’s Annual Planning Meeting will be this Thursday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Park First United Methodist Church in the annex building.
We will be setting the Committees and calendar for next year. We need lots of input and volunteers to make the 2008-2009 year even better!

Pack Meeting is coming May 19

Lots of items coming up for the next Pack Meeting.
- This is the last Pack Meeting for the school year. We will be graduating to the Scouts’ new ranks.
- We will also be having our Spring Round-Up at the same time (during the Pack Meeting)
- In order to show support for the Round-up, we would like the boys to wear their uniforms and to invite their friends to come join Scouting. Here is a link to a card you can print for your Scout to give to their friends: http://www.pack158.org/files/Round-Up_Cards.pdf

Spring Campout is just over 2 weeks away

Our Spring Campout at CubWorld in Bastrop is Saturday, April 26th. Details are below:
Every person going needs to have a medical form on file with the Council before we arrive. That means we need them filled out and returned to the Pack by April 20th. Please turn them into Liz Banda or your Den Leader by then. This is different from the form filled out with the Scout applications and must be filled out even if you are coming for the day.

We need to all arrive at Noon on Saturday to check-in at the main gate.

The Pack Spring campout needs to be paid in advance of the campout itself. You can pay online here: http://www.pack158.org/blog/?page_id=58
This is due immediately, as the Pack must pay for everyone in advance.
Schedule (We are still working out the details):
- Saturday Noon - Check-in and set up
- Saturday afternoon - Stations
- Saturday Evening - Pack Campfire with skits and songs
- Sunday Morning - Worship Service, BB Gun shooting and archery
- Sunday Noon - Pack up and leave
- The Pack will not be doing group food this time. You must bring your own food.
- No electronics (they will be confiscated)
- Knives can only be used by Bears and Webelos and they must have their Whittlin’ Chip

Cub Adventure Day-March 15 & 29

Cub World at Camp Tom Wooten (on the LCRA Lost Pines Scout Reservation)
Program for: Cub Scouts and parents or guardians
Cub Adventure Days give you and your child the chance to sample terrific program facilities like Fort Houston and its BB gun range, the Native American Village and Archery range, the Mineshaft and the swimming pool – while sleeping in your own bed at the end of the day. Fishing, boating and other activities will also be offered.
Calendar
Cub Adventure Day is a one day program with no overnight camping
Spring: March 15, 2008 and March 29, 2008

UT Baseball Scout Night - March 14

The Texas Athletics Department would like to invite all Scouts and their guests to the annual Scout Day for Texas Baseball. We have reduced the price of our tickets to just $6 for all Scouts and their guests. Seats are limited, so order yours today! All participants will receive a UT Athletics Scout Day patch at the game.
